Follow Up SDG 2: Malta at War! (Year 3 – Year 4)

During 1940 up till 1942 Malta played an important part in World War II. Back then Malta was hit by many bombs and there was a great famine.  

If possible try to get in touch (call or Skype) with your grandparents or if you’re lucky enough perhaps even your great grandparents to see ask them if they remember anything about the war in Malta. Ask them if they remember about the Victory Kitchen and do some research to see if you can find some pictures of the Maltese people and the kids waiting in line to get their food rations. We’d be very happy if you had to share it with us!
