Flora issues

Contact Person: Jeffrey Sciberras

Has been a member of NTM since 2007.  He was elected on Council in 2008.  He has been the author of several floral articles in ‘Ballottra’, ‘Archipelago’, and also in the NTM’s Scientific Journal, ‘The Central Mediterranean Naturalist’.  He has also organised several outdoor walks for NTM members. As a Flora Conservation Officer, he focuses on the variety of wild plants that grow in the Maltese islands and their important habitats and distribution. In 2010, for the first time, he commenced delivering short lectures on local flora for special NTM environmental courses.
