1) pick up plastic when I go to the beach
2) pick up plastic when I’m out at sea with my kayak
3) sort our the wast at home and at school in the proper bins

For Earth Hour at school we switched off all the lights, interactive whiteboards and computers for one hour.On the day we took meter readings and compared to consumption to that of other ‘normal’ days and found that we managed to use 13% less electricity!

Students and staff at school will take notice of all the lights switched on in rooms where no lessons are being held. Lights will be obviously switched off.
