Nature Trust – FEE Malta Education Staff Participate in Erasmus+ Training on Education for Sustainable Development

Education staff from Nature Trust – FEE Malta, together with the EkoSkola National Coordinator Prof. Paul Pace and the President Mr Vincent Attard, together participated in three concurrent training courses held in Tenerife in relation to the KA1 Erasmus+ project entitled Schools Mean Important Lifeskills in Education for Sustainability (SMILES).

The training aimed to further strengthen Nature Trust – FEE Malta’s commitment towards promoting Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in the local educational sector. The experience gained was crucial for the development of a variety of educational activities for educators and students scheduled for the Razzett tat-Tfal, located within the Romeo Romano Gardens, which has recently been entrusted to Nature 

Trust – FEE Malta as a national Education for Sustainable Development Hub.

Members of the Education Team and Management attended the following three specialised courses:

The courses addressed modern outdoor teaching methodologies, the use of artificial intelligence in Education for Sustainable Development, and innovative game-based learning techniques. The overall objective was to further enhance ESD delivery through Nature Trust – FEE Malta’s internationally acclaimed programmes: EkoSkola, Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE), and Learning About Ecosystems and Forests (LEAF).
